Albert Schweitzer once said, “One who gains strength by overcoming obstacles possesses the only strength which can overcome adversity”. I believe I should be the recipient of the Bradley Hulse Memorial Scholarship because I have the desire and commitment to give back to my community, just as the founders of the amazing LEAD program did. Another reason why I think I would be an adequate prospect for this scholarship is because some of my best traits are persistence and my ability to overcome any challenge. An example of this would be when I moved to the United states, seeking to get better job opportunities and to escape from the violence and injustice Mexico has been facing in recent years.
