BRADENTON --
Authorities hope to make a positive identification Monday on the body of a child found in a freezer in a Bradenton home late Sunday.

Bradenton police believe it's the body of 11-year-old Janiya Thomas, whom authorities started looking for last week. The girl's mother, 31-year-old Keishanna Thomas, has refused to cooperate with a judge and is being held in jail on a contempt of court charge.

On Sunday night, police received a tip that Janiya Thomas' body might be located in a freezer at the girl's aunt's and grandmother's house in the 5000 block of 21st Way E. According to the Bradenton Herald, police say a man and Keishanna Thomas moved the freezer into the home on Wednesday. Police say they know who the man is and are looking

Nearly one month later, on July 10, 1977, Craig’s body was found floating in a nearby strip-mine pond that had already been intensely searched in the first few days and weeks following his disappearance (Flynn, Grace). An autopsy report determined that there was no definite cause of death, but then again authorities had poured fuel on the body at the time of discovery to “kill maggots” supposedly. This move disabled all ability to make determination of cause of death from tissue samples. The sheriff at the time, along with the grand jury, recommended that the case remain open (Flynn, Grace). After several years, Craig Lloyd Graham’s cause of death is still listed as unknown with no new facts or evidence to help find out who committed this terrible crime (“Craig Lloyd Graham”).…

If I were to travel back 150 years my home and the land it sits on would not exist, in its place I would find…

When his grandmother found a gun under his bed, Jeff had insisted to his father that it was just a target pistol, for use at a shooting range. When he asked to see it, Lionel discovered it not a target pistol, but a Colt Lawman .357 Magnum with a two-a-half inch barrel - not the type found at a shooting range. His grandmother later discovered him escorting a strange, staggeringly drunk man out of her house - but when Lionel questioned him of this, Jeffrey shrugged it off as another dumb thing, just him and a friend getting…
