BPM is an independent record shop and privately run in the early 90’s and later became one of the large markets for the local electronic music. It is a record store, which sells CDs and vinyl. The large growth in sales of the vinyl and CD records contributed to BPM grow into a record distributor with independent records labels at home and overseas as well as supplying their up-to-date music to the record stores. Nevertheless, the record shops are recently losing market share to Web-based shops and music download services such as iTunes and Spotify. For this reason, BPM starts to aware of their business and thinks of expanding their business model and enlarges their market base.

As a management consultant examining the business activities and system in running at BPM Distribution Company, there should be a corporate strategy for BPM in order to compete with the online music stores and other music download services.

Firstly, BPM can launch an online strategy, which can attract new customers and maintain the exist customers. They can launch digital strategy with a free mobile phone app that can allow all the smart phone users to buy or listen to the music. The mobile shoppers can enjoy the CD by scanning the covers, posters and free to listen for 15 seconds of each song. Also they can play any songs from the radio by using
