The article I am about to type about is BP oil spill that happened April 20, 2010. It was the world’s worst oil spill. It killed 11 people on the rig, and had leaked 3.19 barrels of oil into the gulf which then went into the ocean. Which it made this oil spill the worst oil spill ever. But the 3.19 barrels of oil is 139 million gallons of oil into the gulf. But even 5 years after the devastating disaster, there are still problems. But thankfully the gulf is healing itself pretty good. But hopefully it heals it self very well. But the worst part was/is that for 87 straight days oil and methane spewed out from the well head that was supposed to be filled. A mile deep, and 87 days oil and methane spewed out of that well head, and just devastated
