The feminist ethical decision making (EDM) model described by Hill, Glaser and Harden (1995) details a seven step approach to systematically review an ethical dilemma. The model considers a rational-evaluative dimension as well as feeling-intuitive processes. The feminist EDM model begins with a process of recognising the problem and in step two asks the professional to clearly define the dilemma giving consideration to personal perspectives as well as relevant professional literature (Hill, Glaser & Harden, 1995). In the third step professionals need to develop solutions to the dilemma by brainstorming possibilities and assessing risks and benefits of different options. A solution is chosen in the fourth step with both cognitive and emotional components being equally relevant. The fifth step is to review the choice and critically analyse how personal values might be influencing the choice. This step ensures that the professional would make a similar decision in another situation and is happy to have the decision scrutinised by their colleagues (Hill, Glaser & Harden, 1995). Sexual harassment is any unwelcome sexual attention and includes any display of sexual material such as photos or pictures (Anti-Discrimination Act, 1991). Given that a complaint about the images has been made, consideration of the legality of having these images displayed within the workplace of the support workers will need to be given careful attention.
