Boys And Girls Club Analysis

For children lovers, the community-minded, or people that just want to make a difference. The Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County is launching a create play for all drive for the rest of 2016. For more than 100 years, Boys and Girls Clubs of America has allowed young people that are most in need to becoming great citizens. They provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during dangerous non-school hours. The Club programs help with academic success, good character, and creating healthy lifestyles. Yet, a notice has been taken into account about the activities at the Clubs in Alachua County. They realized that after homework time not all children have something to do during free time. At all the local Boys and Girls Clubs they include pool tables, a gym with basketballs and footballs, Computer room, football team, and one of the clubs have a dance room. Some ideas of starting a cheer program, dance program, and other activities for girls during free time. But these ideas will be nothing without the help of a staff member and some volunteers. For example, the Boys and Girls Club football program has 150 volunteers with only one direct paid staff. That same hard work and dedication that is put into football program that can put into something that girls are interested in too.
Providing activities and programs for the girls at the Boys and Girls Club will not only give the girls something to do during free time. But it will also help the young girls build self-esteem, keep them out of trouble, and build positive attitudes. It has shown that the more involved the child is the better their grades and the less trouble they are involved in. Just like they try to keep boys out of trouble they should do the same for
