One of the largest organizations in America are the Boy Scouts of America, which recently changed its name to ‘Scouts BSA’ to foster inclusivity. This group helps to train youth in responsible citizenship, character development and self-reliance by doing outdoor activities, programs and volunteer services. Caleb Robeau, a senior at BMR, joined so that he could learn, from a young age, skills like learning how to tie knots and administer first aid. The ability to cultivate survival prowess is the reason that many boys join the Scouts.
