The Boy Scouts of America made an announcement that is shaking up the scouting world, putting smiles on some faces, while filling other with anger.

CBS News reports

The Girl Scouts are not sold on the idea that the Boy Scouts are suddenly welcoming girls with open arms to create an equal environment, suggesting low enrollment is behind the push to bring the girls in now.

A need for money is also coming into play following the decision, with a finger being pointed at the Boy Scouts need for money to cover past settlements in ex-abuse cases.

They Girl Scouts told ABC News:

"The Boy Scouts' house is on fire. Instead of addressing systemic issues of continuing sexual assault, financial mismanagement and deficient programming, BSA's senior
