I am attracted to the Boy Scout program by the campouts, service projects, helping Cub Scouts, and the normal fun things Boy Scouts do. I began Cub Scouts and that helped me get a feel for what Boy Scouts is. I did all the ranks from Tiger to Weblo 2, although I did not create an Arrow Of Light when I crossed over to Boy Scout. I joined Boy Souts and thought it would be "lame", but that was the total opposite of what I thought, that also attracted me to Boy Scouts because I learned what you do and it was all fun.We (My Troop) are putting up a kiosk to a semmetary, It is at the entrance to the semmatary, it is positioned diagonaly so when you leave the semmatary you will see what is on the inside. When it comes to maturity, people tend to refer to adults but not in Harper Lee’s pulitzer winning novel To Kill A Mockingbird. The coming of age novel is written in a way the readers can experience how the narrator and the main character, Scout, matures. It gives an occasion to fully study the process of her growth and draw the changes in her personality or perspective that result from it. The readers would say they watched Scout grow since she experienced a lot of changes in her life that made her age in maturity. In fact, Scout changed in so many ways in her acknowledgement of human dignity which was an unknown concept before her eyes open and realize what the outside world really look like.…

Alex David Persuasive Speech Do you think kids should get participation awards for something they aren’t really good at? Kids shouldn’t be given awards that they don’t deserve, there should only be one winner and one winner only, instead of everyone winning wins. My reasons for thinking this are: people who think they are good at something tend to do the same thing, people who think they are good at something don’t try to get better because they think they are good already, and the real winners of the award don’t feel as good about their accomplishment since everyone got an award just like them.…

By definition an Eagle Scout is a boy scout who has reached the highest level of attainment in the various tests of skill and endurance set by the boy scout organization. I want to get my Eagle Scout because it not only teaches boy scouts how to survive and do basic things such as cooking, making fires, first aid, etc. It also gives you an advantage in applying for jobs. When applying for a job you could have the same application as someone else but if they see that you have your Eagle Scout then that job will go to you because you’re more qualified. I want to get my Eagle Scout because if i have the same application as someone else or I want to get a job in the government than that will help me with some of the credentials i need to get the job.…

Every leader serves an important role in a Boy Scout troop, but there is one leader who stands among the rest: The senior patrol leader. The SPL, being the top youth leader in the truth, is elected by the scouts of the troop. He is responsible for opening and closing meetings, opening patrol leader council, and leading the troop on hikes during campouts. Without the SPL, there would be a lack of communication between the younger scouts and the adult leaders.…

For my service hours for Public Health class, I served at the Boys and Girls Club where I worked with children from the age of five to twelve. Upon arriving at the Boys and Girls club last week, I came across a few thoughts of how it would be to work with children. The first thought in my head was that working with children isn’t going to be challenging and might be the easiest service I have done. I expected the work to be very stress-free and less overwhelming than any other services. Another expectation I had was that volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club would be like any other experience, like the one of many times when I have tutored kids.…

We live in a world of economics. With all the businesses and corporations in the world, economics helps us makes sense of how capital and labor can manifest productivity. Motivation is a state of mind, desire, or interests that translates into action. Organizations play a crucial part in motivating their personnel by providing the right environment and opportunities (Nahavandi, A., Denhardt, R., Denhardt ,J., & Aristigueta, M, 2015, p. 144).
