Boy Scouts Accomplishments

I’ve had many accomplishments in my life, some small and some big and they’ve all taught me more and more about me. Ever since I started boy scouts I’ve learned not only more about myself, but about other people in my life. Since I started Boy Scouts I’ve done so much community service just like Maria Gatta, I have helped fellow Boy Scouts with their Eagle Scout projects, I have helped with functions around the town and it's all because I want to not because i’m forced to .
It all started what I was in Fifth grade. A 10 year old boy who just got into Boy Scouts, going camping, doing fun activities and most important Community Service. Any time someone is doing their Eagle Scout project i'm always there to help. If our troop is doing a town wide food drive for the homeless I’m always there to help. The most important thing I have done in Boy Scouts was putting American flags on fallen soldier's graves every Memorial Day at Woodbine Cemetery. The …show more content…
If life was every man for himself the world wouldn't be the way it is. Community service is a wonderful thing it's taking your time that you donate to helping out other. My Family has always helped out in the town of Oceanport, weather if it was a walk against cancer for the Courtney Rose Foundation or helping clean up around town. But no matter clean or dirty job someone has to do it so why not step up and help it's only going to benefit the town and or yourself. On October 22, 2012 a super storm named Sandy came through New Jersey and destroyed the Coast of New Jersey and that is where Oceanport is Located. I only wish that after the storm passed that i help out with the boy scouts around town and made food for the people who couldn’t. Unfortunately, I wasn't an actual Boy Scout yet I was still a cub scout and I didn't know what was going on. But now if another hurricane comes through I will be sure to help out and do what I love to do the most, Help
