opponents are doing the same thing at their gym. People rarely get hurt in boxing but when they do get hurt it 's either because they did not follow the gameplan that their coach had for them or all because they were lazy during training camp. Everything has its consequences and the coaches make sure you understand. If you don 't train the coaches don 't tell you anything because they know that you 're either going to lose in the fight or get hurt. The coaches want to teach you but if you are not going to pay attention to what they are telling you they 're just going to put you to the side, why spend time on a boxer that would not do anything he is told. Since you 're always competing in tournaments and fights you always see the same persons everywhere and since it happens every weekend you start becoming closer to them. They become your second family. I can say that my boxing family is really big I have friends in Sacramento, Fresno, San Francisco, Salinas and many more places. Parents and sport directors don 't understand how serious this is to the boxers and if they ever decide to ban boxing it will be like they’re breaking apart a family. The bond that boxers create with other boxers is unexplainable and that is what makes boxing a beautiful sport. You get to meet with professional boxers and legendary coaches that are only seen on tv. Boxing bonds are formed simply because you meet with the same fighters at every tournament and spend most of you weekends with them. A perfect example was when I went to Russia with team USA there were 4 of my friends with me there as well. As the tournament went on I got the chance to make the other 12 fighters my friends. I believe that it 's easy to build bonds with the other fighters, because you share the same passion as them. You can see every boxer on tv having fun doing the sport, talking with fans and sharing love with everyone.
