First, everyone has a low daily minimum wage based on what is affordable for my company to give. This might be $3-$5 dollars. Even though the wage will be low, it assures me that my employees have some money to survive. I believe minimum wage is fair and equitable to a certain point. It starts every employee off on the same level which somewhat eliminates inequality in talent. Second, employees receive pay in accordance of production. The higher the quantity of baked goods made by an employee results in high wages for that employee. Payment in this way creates incentives and it rewards employees for hard work, but it does allow for inequality of talent. But I feel that talent should be rewarded and if an employee lacks talent then hard work can help. As Friedman stated, payment by production is necessary for true equality and to me true fairness.
