1.Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch

Located in Oro Grande, Calif., Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch has an abundance of unique tree sculptures made out of antique bottles. The site is located along National Trails Highway. The bottle tree sculptures are the work of the ranch's owner, Elmer, who began making them 15 years ago when he inherited his father's bottle collection. Elmer lives on the property, and he tends to interact with his visitors. The attraction is home to over 200 bottle trees along with other antique art.

near Mariposa Grove in Yosemite. The Tunnel Log is a hole cut into a large sequoia tree, which lies horizontally across the roadway. The tunnel was created in 1937 after the tree fell over Crescent Meadow Road. Rather than cut the tree apart, Sequoia National Park decided to create a tourist attraction and cut a hole through the tree. The hole is eight feet high and 17 feet wide, so most vehicles can pass through it.

9.Casa Grande Ruins

The Casa Grande (Great House) Ruins, located near Tucson, Ariz., are the remains left by the ancient Sonoran people. The park in which they sit was created in 1892 in order to preserve the ruins, which are one of the largest prehistoric structures in North America. The park includes a visitor's center, which contains a museum and book store. In the visitor's center, guests can watch a film about the structures before doing a self-guided tour of the area. The park also offers guided tours, which last an hour.

While visiting, you can see homes that look like the ones in the cartoon and meet some of the characters. You can take pictures with some of the characters and horses on the site. The park also includes other activities, a restaurant, and a gift shop. If you are looking for a place to rest, you can spend the night at the campground, too.

14.Grand Canyon Skywalk

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a steel overhang with a glass bottom that gives viewers an amazing view of the canyon. The structure sits 2,300 feet above the ground and extends 70 feet over the edge of the canyon. The walkway gives you a panoramic view of the canyon. You can also take a guided helicopter tour of the canyon from the skywalk. The walk is located within the National Park and isn't too far from Las Vegas and Kingman.

15.Alien Research Center

The Alien Research Center near Las Vegas is a great place to learn about alien sightings across the country. The center is located just before Area 51. While there, you can purchase alien merchandise and books about alien encounters. You can also get more information about the encounter that may have happened in Area 51.
