I had never seen this done before but was very grateful.

The Boston Massacre only created more strain in the unstable relationship between the two; Paul Revere did not aid in the attempt to strengthen the relations, much rather the opposite. Revere had a heavy influence in the colony— taking use of that, Revere published an engraving known as the Boston Massacre. Revere made the incident appear worse than reality. “The orderly arrangement of the troops and the stance of the officer at their side suggests that they acted under orders” (pg. 101) and Revere even renamed the store in the background as “Butcher’s Hall” (pg. 101). Even though the incident was resolved, the event still darkened the colonists’ views on the…

The camp you will be staying at is off the coast of Southern California and is on the North Western side of Catalina. It is 22 miles from Los Angeles which is where you board the ship that takes you to Catalina. When you are outside (or sometimes even when you are inside), the temperature is normally really warm and sometimes humid so I would suggest bringing and applying sunscreen in the morning and after every meal. Some of the native plants are eucalyptus trees, pine trees, moss, and cherry trees. The cherries that are on Catalina Island are different than what we are used to.…

Introduction The Boston Massacre also known as the “massacre perpetrated in King Street” is quite possibly the most misnamed event in American history. What was in 1770 considered a massacre, would today by historians be seen as merely an angry mob gone awry. But were those citizens involved in the massacre really helpless and unresisting. And were the British soldiers who fired into the crowd doing so to be cruel, or to restore order to an already turbulent situation.…
