Detective Perez, Detective Elkin, and Detective Ma arrived at the crime scene at 1:22 A.M. after Fannin, a prominent racketeer in Ernie’s lunchroom, was shot and killed by a presently unknown assailant. The three detectives rushed in a few minutes after the gunshot was heard. We found a handprint on the wall and the floor was newly mopped and there were footprints in the shallow pools of water.
