“The most well known marathon in the United States was disturbed enormously for not only the runners but the spectators as well in the matter of 8-12 seconds,” (CNN.com). To see spectators and runners that finished first blown up and blood go everywhere would leave the people unharmed with a traumatizing memory. “I know after seeing this event just on television would definitely make me have second thoughts about participating in the marathon the next year or ever again,” (Mennemeyer). “I can relate to the feeling of accomplishment although I’m not much of a runner myself,” (Mennemeyer). Accomplishments can come in any form whether it be in athletic events winning or achieving good grades in college. “I wouldn’t be able to comprehend what had just happened to the other people finishing before me at the finish line, coming the end of my race and see several people crying for help.
