Can boredom be destructive? In some cases, it could lead to bad decisions. Also, if you're bored, you could be doing something productive. And the worst case is it could lead to extreme anxiety and could cause a panic attack. Even though it could also relieve stress and be used as a
“brain break.” While it could be good for our brains and help sort out our feelings, it could also lead to worse. First, you're being bored instead of contributing. You could be helping a homeless shelter or walking your dog. You could be helping your parents by cleaning up and doing laundry. But instead, you're sitting on your couch watching TV.
