Boredom rounds out the list at number nine but I felt it deserved to be highlighted. Can you die of boredom? Is it possible to die of boredom? Interesting idea, boredom is when your mind is inspired but your body is not. Studies have been done that show that people who ‘claim’ to be bored are more likely to die at an earlier age. Boredom is often linked to depression. Depression leads to sickness and depending on the sickness leads to death. So, yes, boredom can lead death.
I’m also going to add a big YES because if you are bored to death you simply give up trying. You give up on everything. Once you give up, you’re dead. They may not bury you for another 20 to 40 years, but you are dead. The walking dead … not to be confused …show more content…

Inspiring Characteristics
We’ve all had someone we admire that inspires us. When I made the decision to write this book I set down and made a list of the people who have made and inspirational impact on my life. Then I made a list of the characteristics that attracted me to them.
My list of inspirational people isn’t as important as the list of characteristics that I came up with. Let’s review each of those four traits:
• Live bold and on purpose. Love what you do and do it with passion. When you are doing what you are passionate about you’re happy. Use your time in the car to listen to training, podcasts, books on tape. Today’s information changes rapidly. Stay informed and knowledgeable regarding your industry in order to maintain your passion and enthusiasm for what you’re doing. • Read. Read. Read. Books introduce us to new ideas, new strategies, they give us resources. According to Mental Floss, 42% of college graduates never read another book after college, and 70% of U.S. adults have not been in a bookstore in the last five years. Think of how far above average you can place yourself if you read a book a month for life! Be accountable to yourself. • Show respect. The simple act of being respectful of others' time, thoughts, ideas, lifestyles, feelings, work, and everything else goes a long way and costs nothing. I’m sure we all know someone who lacks in this area. I had someone I had to delete from my calendar based on the lack of respect in the area of time. First, you should know that I am the type person to be early to any meeting. I have always said, “It is better to be early and wait, than to be late.” With today’s technology being early gives me an extra 5 to 15 minutes of reading time. Or I can catch up on one of my Podcast series. You’ll never find me wasting playing time on Candy
