How do you feel about immigrants coming to the United States? I believe that the US should not increase border security because there are immigrants are escaping war and poverty and so they come to the US to live a better life. There are a lot of reasons I feel that the US should not increase border security like presumption of danger, border militarization and more.

The immigrants that come from countries that have war like Syria to the US, just want have a better, safer life. According to an article from The Washington Times, “Mr. Obama vowed last year to take 10,000 refugees as a way to help Syrians caught in a 5-year-old civil war…”. In 2016 June, the US has accepted more than 2,300 Syrian immigrants alone, according to The Washington Times. According to an article from the Pew Research Center, “According to the Department of Homeland Security, more than 11,000 children from Mexico were apprehended between October 1, 2013 and May 31 of this year.” The US are accepting children from countries that have poverty and violence like Honduras which, according to the Pew Research Center, has the highest homicide rate in the world. There is always gonna be someone who disagrees with my argument but why should that be you because do you want to someone that lives in the US and not want to help immigrants just off of presumption of danger towards them while their living in war and poverty and all they want to do is live a better life for them and their family? If you think that all immigrants should have to live in their own country even when there are major problems with it then why should you stay in US? The land of America was stolen from Mexico so that would only mean that all Americans are immigrants. What makes us better than the immigrants that are trying to escape war and live the
