Booming South Korea South Korea is booming in every realm of industries from technology to military they continue to advance and surprise the world with their accomplishments. South Korea has come a long way from basically starting from scratch after the Korean War. South Korea have continued to grow rapidly and are technologically advanced, a distinguished economy and have a modernized military defense. South Korea is a well diverse geographical place to travel to with all the different terrain and mountains it has. Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is one of the largest cities in the world. We have made an alliance with South Korea because in 1950 the Soviets didn’t like the fact that the United Nations declared the Republic Of Korea as the only legitimate government on the peninsula, which cause the Korean War. President Truman ordered the in the United States to help join the fight with South Korea to fight the Korean War. In 1953 the war has come to an end and a ceasefire zone was established between the two countries known today as the 38th parallel. Interesting enough if war was to break out the United States has military authority over South Korean’s military until middle of 2020. The reason for this is that South Korean officials believe that since they don’t have the ability to destroy North Korea’s defensive and conventional forces they shouldn’t have the command of both the United States and the South Korean military forces. South Korea has surpassed many obstacles and technological barriers from basically starting as a country almost 70 years ago they have built an innovative technological field, being well known worldwide in multiple categories of sales, and have a well diverse air and missile military defense.
