Book Summary: The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is a group of survivors trying to survive from a zombie apocalypse, not only fending off the Walkers they are also trying to fend off the other surviving groups. The other groups are trying to take their supplies and kill people in their group. The main characters in The Walking Dead is Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Glenn Rhee, Morgan Jones, Carl Grimes, Carol Peletier, Maggie Greene, Michonne, Sasha, Abraham Ford, Tara Chambler, Rosita Espinosa, Eugene Porter, Gabriel Stokes, Aaron, and Spencer Monroe. Kite Runner is about Amir’s childhood in Kabul and Amir’s and Baba's time in California. They experience being betrayed and experienced redemption. When the Governor killed Hershel it started a full on war. Mutiple ended up dieing in the firefight between getting shot or getting eaten by zombies. Rick now realizes that the whole group is broken up and has lost a Hershel that has a daughter in the group named Maggie. Maggie was heart sick about her dad dieing. Rick feels very regretful for taking the situation to that level. In the Kite Runner Amir feels responsible for what happened to Hassan. Amir did nothing when Hassan was being attacked in the alley but Assaf and his crew. Amir was to scared and was in shock of what he was seeing happen to Hassan but Amir ended up running away instead of helping him. Amir regrets not helping Hassen when he was getting attacked. Another theme that The Walking Dead relates to the Kite Runner is Betrayal. Rick gets attacked by ex group members their names were Morton and Vincent. Rick gets attacked when he is walking around the community, as he is walking around he gets jumped by two ex group members. When Rick has the chance Rick bites Morton’s neck when he was reaching for his cane. Rick is not a zombie he realized that it was his only way of coming out of this situation
