I liked this book a lot because, it has a lot of mystery. It is almost brand new so the author is writing more books.
The long Game is the next book in the series.
The historical fiction book Vietnam: Walking Wounded by Chris Lynch follows the story of four friends who enlisted into different branches of the military to fight in the Vietnam War. The book follows the characters from the first four books but puts them all into one. The story follows after Rudi one of the four friends, is killed in battle and the story starts as Beck carries him to base. When Beck delivers the body to base Morris, another one of the friends, takes the job of escorting him home. The rest of the story follows as he makes stops around the world to take other fallen soldiers back home.…
Your Inner Fish , by Neil Shubin is a scientific novel about human evolution and its link to prehistoric fish. The novel combines story and narrative with scientific fact, evidence, and reasoning. The novel The Wars by Timothy Findley presents the reader with many normative assumptions that can be recognized as troubling. From the passage above an example of this would be masculinity and heroism. The reader learns that when Robert is in the brothel, his curiosity brings him to observing Taffler having sex with another man (Findley, 42-43). After what Robert has seen he is left distraught, because he decided Taffler is the person he wants as a mentor. However, this then challenges Roberts’s understanding on what it means to be masculine and a hero but living a promiscuous…
Information 1. First person point-of-view 2. Mia, Adam, Mom, Dad, and Teddy 3. I liked this book because its whole conflict was around something totally different then what most authors would have chosen. It leaves you confused about what Mia might choose and gives points from both options.…
A Good Rewrite is Hard to Find In his short story “The Most Dangerous Game,” Richard Connell tells the thrilling story of a skilled hunter named Rainsford, who washes up on a mysterious island where he falls captive to General Zaroff, a psychopathic man that preys on “the scum of the earth” simply for the thrill and excitement of the hunt. Connell builds suspense throughout the story through his use of dialogue and character behaviour. Richard Connell predominantly uses character interactions to build suspense as the plot progresses, utilizing dialogue to create a mysterious tone and to foreshadow the predicaments that Rainsford will soon find himself in. During the conversation between Whitney and Rainsford on the yacht, Whitney tells Rainsford that he felt an oddly distinct chill while sailing past the supposedly cursed island, even though "there was no breeze [and the] sea was as flat as a plate-glass window" (Connell 2).…

The novel Shatter Me written by Tahereh Mafi is foremost one of the best books that I have ever read in my existence. This amazing novel was really unpredictable as everything happened like a rollercoaster ride. However, it did have some drops throughout the book that I did not find amusing. The Battle Between Man Versus Man Nothing is more thrilling than reading a story packed with conflict. In “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, conflict is the heart of the story. At the beginning, most readers aren’t sure what to expect, but as the story and conflict develops, readers get a better idea what the story is going to be able and what they can expect. Conflict not only contributes to a better experience for readers, it also contributes to character development, a very vital piece to any story.…
The book “Chains” was a very interesting story with a lot of dialogue in it. Chains was written in 3rd person limited. The narrator was following Isabel and her significant story. SOme of the advantages of third person limited was you could now what Isabel was thinking throughout the story and what she was planning to do next. The disadvantages in the book was the reader did not know how Curzon was doing when he was in prison.…
