The book The Glass Castle is a memoir of Jeannette walls and the walls family. This story is based on a family who constantly travels town by town because the dad Rex, is an alcoholic and he can’t keep a steady job so he turns to fast money. Every time the father got caught for making fast money or could not pay the rent he tells the family to pack up and let’s go. The mother Rose Mary, has a teaching degree but no job, she rather makes beautiful paintings all day at home. These parents aren’t usual normal parents.
