The Copper Gauntlet HOOK: “No! You can’t go” ,Alastair lunged for Call, grabbing his arm. His Father wasn’t a big man, but he was lean and long and wiry. Call slipped and went down hard on the concrete, landing the wrong way on his leg. Pain shot up his body, making his vision swim. Over Havoc’s barking, Call heard his father saying, “You can’t go back to the Magisterium. I have to fix this. I promise you, i will fix it -” He means he’s going to kill me, Call thought.
He means i’ll be fixed when i’m dead.
Ok, so now that you have heard this segment of the book, let’s get into details.
SUMMARY: The Copper Gauntlet is about four kids named Callum,Aaron,Tamara, and Jasper. These kids live in a school called the Magisterium. The Magisterium is a school for kids who have backgrounds of magic. The

The Alkahest is a copper glove that has the ability to take the magic out of a mage ( A man or woman who possesses magic ). They both have reason to believe the soul of Constantine Madden ( A Evil Overlord ) is a part of Call. Alastair wants to use the Alkahest to take the magic out of his son, and also wants to use chaos magic to get the soul of Constantine out of Call. But do his plans go as accordingly, or does the enemy have Alastair falling for a trap? Read The Copper Gauntlet to find out. RELEVANCE TO TITLE: The title of my book is called The Copper Gauntlet because, The ‘Copper Gauntlet’ symbolises the Alkahest ( A magical Copper Glove that takes the has the power to take away the magic from a mage ). The copper gauntlet is the only thing that can take the power of chaos away from a “Makar” ( A chaos mage ). THEME: The message the author is trying to tell me is that you must keep secrets to keep yourself at an advantage over others.
