Warm welcomes, to all that are reading and or listing to this essay. The topic on this essay is none other than the difference between the novel “We All Fall Down “ and the movie “The World Trade Center”. In this essay I will state what is both the similar and different aspects about them. Also I will state my opinion on which is better. But enough delaying so let us begin with what the similar aspects are.
Back in 2001 during the month of September in third week of the month on a Tuesday morning is when the book and movie are dated to take place on. Of course both the book and movie take place in the Twin Towers where everything that happened was completely unexpected and no one had any clue of it. The novel is based on a boy who gets to go to work with his father for the day and tries to escape the towers before it crumbles. Will is a kid in the novel. It is showing Will and his father John in the Twin Towers trying to escape it. The novel tells you about the day before and the day of 9/11. The novel teaches you a bit about the history the building and facts about people who made movie or such. They were in the south tower trying to get out and and they did successfully manage to get out of the tower before it collapsed.They actually would of had a first hand witness of the towers collapsing. In the novel you only really see the employees side of it until towards the end when you read that the police and firemen arrived on the scene. The novel has that hundreds of people make it out of there before it collapsed. During the descent of the tower they came across a women named Ting who has a broken leg, but they brought her to safety. About two thirds of the characters are adults and the rest are teenagers in the novel. A meaning founded is that you should always still help people even in crisis because your life is not worth anymore the last or the next. The story progression war fairly slow making you think that it took forever for the towers to fall down and collapse.Last but not least we only read it from Wills perspective in the novel. …show more content…
Why I preferred the book well to start with it gives lots of details instead of the movie. It does actually mean a lot if I like a book because I tend to be very picky about what I read. the book plot, story, theme, everything was so well done and thought out that once you start reading it, it is hard to put it down and stop reading. Reason why it is so hard to stop reading it well every chapter pretty much end with a cliffhanger. Great books like this one are very hard to come by. Also the book gave you facts on the tower, for I enjoy Facts and Trivia. But anyways that is my opinion I would continue to ramble on but I got to conclude this thing
