Title: Some Lessons From The Assembly Line.

During reassessment for article "Some Lessons From the Assembly Line" by Andrew Braaksma (2005), I concluded similar notations, and judgements. What I developed from the material is that life has moments of bliss, nativity, and hardships. Mr. Braaksma associated these by sharing experience spent at a summer job at an assembly line, clocking hours, and followed going back to college life after their time at the summer job. Also, Mr. Braaksma, expressed that college life was lenient in contrast to the summer position, emphasizing on a lack of security, complacency causes injury, and a valued education. Braaksma claim of is to discover outcomes, and the value of education by providing first-hand accounts of his time in a situation that could arise without an education. Personally, I would agree with Mr. Braaksma intent, and acknowledge his discoveries. While I was younger, I never though much of the future, or of what I did, I was too naive to understand. This was due to circumstances that I never experience first-hand, and Mr. Braaksma shared his experiences that assisted in furthering positive progression. However, I do understand that younger generation, usually between the ages of <18:24 tend to read articles like this, and then become the experts regarding the subject. Later on, the younger generations fall into the same circumstances, and usually don’t learn until it actually happens to them. Conversely, even older generations (>24) will still experience a downfall due to a lack of first-hand knowledge.

Braaksma made a short personal quip within the article, “is that all?” (Braaksma, 2005), and with that shows more feeling to the claim from within the article. Usually, when writing about a subject an author will bring more emphasis to sections with bold, quick, or out of place statement. With this, this can allow the author and the reader to reflect on the current situation in the article as if the read is actually there, and are saying it themselves. In my writing experience, when I have wanted to capture a thought or feeling at the time, I would add phrasing at the time, or wording to share the feeling as an author. Wow, am I really listening to this horrible music? For an example, this is my experience, or influence to support this while writing this assignment, and to bring symmetry to my claim.
Mr. Braaksma, Andrew’s goal within this article is to discover outcomes, and value education. With that, Mr. Braaksma obtained the opportunity to experience life without an education, and gave Mr. Braaksma a renewed compassion for college.
