Sean covey’s “7 habits to highly effective teens” talks about methods in how to help yourself and could have the effect of helping others.Their is Habit 1 ,Habit 2, Habit 3 ,Habit 4 ,Habit 5 ,Habit 6 ,Habit 7 . These habits are all methods on dealing with situations and to help you as the reader make life easier/better. For me I read the book and then I tried to apply what I had read and it worked sometimes but other times I made a complete fool of myself. But it was worth trying at least and I did learn.
The first habits name is called Be Proactive.This habit is about how you should be more proactive more than reactive. One example is when the book talks about how a soda just fizzes up and then explodes well they use this because it could be related to the reader and then it talks about the water. The water sits there and it bubbles but then goes down and this is used to represent a proactive person and, this is saying that a

The author explains the habit like this “Think win win is an attitude toward life , a mental frame of mind that says I can win , and so can you...It’s both of us”.This is saying that you can help yourself as well as others. It is also about getting along with others He later on says “...no one is inferior or superior…” this is something I can agree with and I hope more people can too. Then he talks about the Think win win totem pole and how you shouldn’t just try and say I am better than you.
Habit five is called Seek first to understand then to be understood. This is about how you should understand and then have your turn and being understood. Later the author talks about how you should mirror not mimic and the differences. Mimicking is just saying the same thing the other person is saying and not trying to understand them , mirroring is when you listen then try to understand why they feel this way and try to put that into you words.
