The beginning of the book is a very eerie one. In which Guy Montag who will be the narrator and main character throughout the book is describing his love of being a fireman. But being a fireman to him is not the same as being a fireman in today 's time. In this dystopian society where people don’t enjoy the company of people a fireman is somebody who seeks out book and wishes to burn them, not put them out; because in this time period where the book is taking place houses can not be burned because they are made of fireproof material. In the beginning of the story the main character (Guy Montag) meet a young girl named Clarisse McClellan. After he meets this girl and talks to her a couple times he starts to see how wrong society is. As other than in the first 40 pages or so no character in dynamic. All characters beliefs remain the same throughout the book. The only real action in the book at all in when Guy burns his captain alive and the hound is preparing to kill him. But all in all the book is a slow read at a slow place, it also becomes hard to understand because the main character often goes into a high state of mind to where it is hard to follow what he is saying. He also jumps around from where he is when he is going into describing things. For instance he may be acting as if he is describing the inside of his house from the outside but all of the sudden in practically the same sentence he is inside his house describing it to
