This middle school boy, Paul, transitions between Houston, Texas and Tangerine County, Florida into a development called Lake Windsor Downs. No matter where he is though, he can't seem to catch a break from his brother, Eric. Paul is not only bullied by him but by others because of his eyeglasses. The form that his mother fills out because of his glasses, stops him from playing soccer at Lake Windsor Middle School, but not at Tangerine middle. He also helps out on his friends brothers farm when he is creating the new breed of tangerines when the freeze comes and to make sure everyone knows about them.
