In the story looking for Alaska I found it interesting. At the start of the story i thought that pudge had made bad choices that's what made me more Interested as I read each page of the book. At the start pudge’s life seemed not very good as his parents were making him going to boarding school. When pudge goes to his new room he meets his new roommate the Colonel. Pudge and the Colonel start to become friends and grow a strong friendship. The Colonel took pudge to meet a new friend of the Colonel her name was Alaska. Alaska was not your normal girl she smoked,drinked,liked to Hang out with boys and get in trouble.

Alaska takes pudge on a whole new emotional roller coaster ride that can't decide at first if he likes her or not, but he ends up falling in love with her anyway. Alaska helps pudge see his true colours by her show him her colours in her life.

When Alaska died pudge goes through all these new emotions that he has never felt before in his life. Pudge doesn't know why Alaska left him there? If she loved him back? Why would she commit suicide if she even did love him? Or if he was a one night stand? These are all questions pudge thought about or why wouldn't she tell him what they were then ?. I guess thats girls are just like that then. Pudge feared that he would just forget her but he just turned around and couldn't stop thinking about where she is or even if she is just gone for ever !!.

Pudge comes to the end of his journey when he realizes that he will never know the answer to those questions. He never knew what Alaska was thinking when she was alive but that won't happen again as she's dead. He become from liking her to hating her to loving her to letting her go which didn't help him at all and I guess that's what love is all about a love hate relationship with girls and it's just human
