Ebenezer j. Scrooge died at the age of 72. He was a man who in his younger days did not have much to do do and he never really had many friends. He started a small business after marrying at the age of 24 he had one daughter which he surpassed in life. she was about the only thing he had with his wife dying at only 54 he was a very sad man. He had one companion to work with named Jacob Marley. he had died seven years before scrooge on christmas eve. Almost all of his loved ones have passed away on christmas eve. He was a very gruff man for most of his life and in his last 5 years of life he turned into a very jolly man, some say it was because of the young boy he became friends with, some say it was medicine, i think it was the spirit and jollyness
