John, Lorraine, Norton Kelly, and Dennis Kobin make prank phone calls. They try to be on the phone the longest. When it is Lorraine's turn, she picks out Mr. Pignati's phone number and pretends to be calling from a charity. Mr. Pignati agrees to give them ten dollars. Mr. Pignati asks them if they want to go to the zoo. After agreeing the Pigman's offer to the zoo, a friendship begins to form. John and Lorraine start to visit a lot. They discover a document inside Mr. Pignati's room and find out Conchetta is dead. They start going over to the pigman's all the time and he is giving them lots of gifts. They tell him that they were never a charity, and he tells them that his wife is dead. Mr. Pignati has a heart attack while he and John
