The plot line form the “Book of Ruth” and the “Boaz Asleep” are very different because the first one is a story and the second one is a poem. I think that the setting of the “Book of Ruth” is different than the one in the poem “Boaz Asleep” because on the "Book of Ruth" you know that it happened between Israel and Moab while, on the “Boaz Asleep" you do not know it happens. For example he uses some of the names and places of the “Book of Ruth” such as, Ruth and Boaz, and Moabitess. In the texts "Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon" form the “Book of Ruth” and the text "For while he slept, the Moabitess Ruth Lay at his feet, expectant of his waking." from the "Boaz Asleep” is clear that the names and places are used in both selections.
I believe that the theme of the Lion-makers is that wisdom is better than knowledge. In the excerpt "When this had been done, the lion was brought to life, rose up, and killed all three. But the man of sense, after the lion had gone elsewhere, climbed down and went home." is shows that wisdom or in this case sense, is better than knowledge (scholarship) because the three characters that had knowledge were killed by the lion and the other character had wisdom, climbed the three and was not killed.
This the tone of the selection is that the author looks down on three men because they don't use common sense coupled with their book smarts. In the text "When this had been done, the lion was brought to life, rose up, and killed all three. But the man of sense, after the lion had gone elsewhere, climbed down and went home." the tone is supported because the author think of the three man with disdain because they were smart but had no sense, and that is why they were
