Bono is known as a rock star, an artist, a poet, and an activist, but mostly known as a global leader who had changed the world forever. Bono had some huge successes as a world leader by becoming a change agent when the world needed one to bring the country back to economic stability and sanity. A change agent is someone from the inside or outside the organization who helps the firm trasnform itself focusing on such matters as organizational effectiveness, improvement, and development. Some of the leadership qualities Bono has, can be learned from as well as his change agent abilities.
Along with being the lead singer of the biggest rock band in the world, U2, he is a business figure. Bono sits on the board of an investment fund called Elevation Partners and is a co-owner of a hotel in Dublin.

Bono also co-founded many organizations like DATA (Debt AIDS Trade Africa), EDUN (an Irish fashion company creating fair-pay employment and trade in Africa), and lastly co-founded the ONE Campaign which helped the fight against poverty. He has been nominated 3 times for the Nobel Peace Prize, received an honorary award by Queen Elizabeth II, and was claimed to be named Person of the Year by Time magazine in 2006 along with Bill and Melinda Gates in the same magazine (Bono: Model Leader and Change Agent, 2014). It all started with Bono’s band when he first started performing his band’s music at benefits concerts, and contributed songs to raise charity. Since the, Bono has broadened his vision of world issues, which increased his work to change the world.
