In the first stanza of the song she asks, “Where have all the good men gone?” She also states that she hopes to find a white knight on fiery steed, as referring to King Arthur, a brave warrior who was well known for his nobility. In addition to this, in the chorus of the song she specifically states about her hero being a man that is strong, fast, and fresh from the fight.
