Bone Density Scanner

One personality trait that helped Chris Gardner throughout the movie, is being hardworking and determined. Chris showed that he was both hardworking and determined when and before, he was going through his internship to get a job as a stockbroker. before he got the position as an internship for the job, he tried his hardest to impress Jay Twistle to giving and convincing the people who were hiring, to giving him the job. Doing so he had jumped into a cab, solved a rubix cube, and most importantly ran away from the cab driver for not having enough money to pay him, which then leads to him losing another “Bone Density Scanner”. Another reason Chris is hardworking and determined, is that he would stay up late, studying for a test/ to get a job as a stockbroker, and even more so on trying to fix his machine. Finally, during Chris’ internship, he had chosen to not hung up on his calls, and he even took the time to apologize to Walter Ribbon, for missing an appointment with him. Of course, there were times in the movie when Chris was stressed, and was angry at others, including his own son. Though for the most part, he honestly was trying to stay positive, in front and for his son. He had done so by pretending his’ “Bone Density Scanner” was a time machine, and was playing pretend with his son. By doing this, he was able to cheer up his son, and himself for a short time. Another time he had shown the trait of staying positive, is when he picked up his son from Ms. Chu’s day care, and had jokingly told his son that he got hit by a car. Having said that, he does soon after tell his son not to run into streets. Finally, Chris was positive and had told the truth when he was in an interview with the people who were hiring only twenty applicants, who in the end would only give the job to one of the twenty
