I think it would be productive to set up a phone call with the consultant so we can discuss the notice requirements imposed by the statutes and regulations. We need to give the residents notice 30 days prior to the transfer of the property or at the time that a bona fide offer is made, whichever period is longer. A bona fide offer is interpreted to mean a proposal by the buyer to purchase the facility with definite terms in writing communicated to the seller and accompanied by a cash deposit.
