The Pros And Cons Of The Bombing Of Hiroshima

Boom! Crash! Those were the sounds coming from the bombings of World War II. Was it a good idea to bomb Japan for what they had done to us? The answer remains uncertain, but in my opinion, it was the best choice. It might seem as if I had a dark understanding of this event, but it 's better to take it all in with one punch than several others. On August 6, 1945 it might have been a regular day for some families go off to work and expect to be back home with their families, but for people in Hiroshima, Japan most families never got to see each other again. This is because this was the day we dropped a bomb called Enola Gay, but mostly known by the name of "Little boy". A Enola Gay is an American B-29 bomb that weighs about 10,000 pounds. When this bomb was dropped in Hiroshima everything within a certain radius had dissolved into small ashes. This first bomb killed 80,000 people immediately after it was dropped. By dropping the bomb he had finished everything. After everything had passed we were all equal, but just gave Japan a reminder who is more dominant in these kinds of situations and also who is better to stand with. I think that President Truman could have not done anything better to come out with equal outcomes in this situation. He finished the job that could have gone on for years. In contrast it was bad because it caused a lot of deaths and pollution to our Earth with the left over gases and smoke. We could have ruined our atmosphere horribly but thankfully we had not done so much harm. Some of the historians today believe this caused the start of the cold war.
