A good example of the alphabetic and sequence codes would be to use the first four letters of the customer’s first name combined with a four number sequence (Tilley, & Rosenblatt, 2016). For example, for Jane Johnson, the code would be JANE8645. This code is common for most organizations since it includes the name of the customer, which is advantageous for both the organization and the customer. For the product codes, the straight numeric sequence would be preferable since it is easier to create and is routinely assigned by the computer. Other organizations prefer the significant digit, which shows products, size, color, and style. A system using the combination code can allocate two digits for the product, a sequential code for the given product, followed by multiple digits that provide details such as color and size(Tilley, & Rosenblatt, 2016). A good example would be Item Product Code Black, Microwave, touch screen, 4-886-17, water resistance, 10/4

In the essay, "Dream Machines" (211), Will Wright presents an article about how machines and technology affect society today. However, instead of taking a negative view of how technology influences people's lives, the article considers the positive effects on the population and how machines are allowing us to better develop the world. I found that most of his arguments and examples, such as how video games improve reaction times, were outdated and boring expressions. Many articles have debated these arguments, however I did find his view on personalization quite relevant. His article brought up two points that are usually not noticed in other articles.…

A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen is considered to be one of the greatest realistic dramas written, following the character Nora in her secretive and complex life. Being a well-made play, all is naturalistic and not overly dramatized. However, Ibsen makes use of features within the setting to subtly convey and emphasize the story and its messages. One such feature concerns the doors within the house. At the beginning, he describes four doors in the house: two at the back, and one on either side.…
