Bold statement V Fidget spinners, despite their slightly interesting looks, are complete disruptions from all classrooms. Only in some cases are they ever used to help someone focus, and even then it draws attention from around the room if it makes noise or looks flashy. Some students may be more focused on the idea of a small toy that spins rather than the importance of some school work. Along with the distraction that fidget spinners have, they’re also dangerous in some cases. Fidget spinners are sometimes used to do tricks, and that also causes a distraction, but if they’re the spiked fidget spinners that have even one sharp point on it, then the fidget spinner could be thrown the wrong way and potentially poke out someone’s eye or stab someone in it’s crossfire if the trick goes wrong. Well, guess what, there’s another fidget spinner injury. it happened in the U.S. when a little girl had taken out the bearing of the spinner and inadvertently “consumed” it, which very easily could have led to respiration trouble and also could have prompted internal bleeding if it had been chipped in the process, leading to hospitalization or their passing. Moreover, I read somewhere about a kid throwing a spinner into the air and it lands right in the kid’s eye, it could have completely disabled his sight were he to hit the eye in the right way. The fact that we can let ourselves hold such a murderous thing in the classroom while everyone looks at it is a vaguely alarming thing to think of. These things are not only distracting, but also dangerous at the same time. It’s a combo that is horrific in a classroom, it’s small and confined and everybody pays attention to everyone else.
