A force multiplier that has enabled Boko Haram to increase its striking power is the partnership with ISIS. This link could essentially magnify the group’s abilities to inflict violence and terror. Their connection will allow the two terrorist groups to share resources, expertise, and personnel in a disturbing fashion. (Mak, 2015). Social media is also a force multiplier utilized by Boko Haram. Along with their relationship with ISIS, Boko Haram has also been taking notes on the use of social media as a tool, or perhaps receiving assistance from ISIS themselves.
