8 good reasons for women to start bodybuilding
If you think that bodybuilding is exclusively a male sport, you are deeply mistaken. Women do well in athletics. But bodybuilding woman it seems that girls are weaker than men? - Yes, it's true. The solution lies in the hormonal background of each organism.
The ideas received
Men have a high level of testosterone, which contributes to the increase of muscle mass. While women are dominated by the hormone estrogen, which in turn leads to the accumulation of excess fat. This is why it is much more difficult for women to pump dry muscle mass. This does not mean that girls should strive to increase the level of testosterone by artificial means to create muscle. Differences in training
Girls can fully engage in bodybuilding, working to improve their shape and build muscle.
But their training programs are slightly different from those of men:
Weight - during training, girls use less weight, unlike men.
Deposits of fat. Because the female body is characterized by a slow metabolism, which leads to the formation of a layer of fat, which is more difficult to get rid of. Therefore, to increase sports results, women must use so-called fat burners (for example, coffee or guarana).

A little history
At first, bodybuilding was an all-male sport, but as it turned out, fragile women are able to do this sporting segment.
The first women's bodybuilding competition was held in 1978 in Canton, Ohio, where girls were judged by bodybuilding standards. Already in 1980, the American Championship of professional athletes was selected, whose winner was Rachel McLeish. This date was a key moment in the development of women's bodybuilding.
In recent years, competitions in related fields have become increasingly popular.
