I had begun working with my father since the end of my Sophomore year, my father works as a Trucker who moves cargo for Walgreens, I had worked with him on the Weekdays and summer months for both Sophomore and Junior year until I transferred to American Eagle retail. During my Sophomore year, I was a part of the Saint Aloysius church group were we helped the poor, food drive, and bake sales. But the most significant activity that I cherish is Bodybuilding and my family yearly vacations because it allows me to experience a new sensation in life. These experiences are what separates each human from their emotions to their behavior, both my mother and father came from South America: Colombia and Ecuador. Hispanics are disciplined, hardworking, and most caring group of people; I am proud to be called a Latino. My father and mother have taught me how to work amongst the worker, care like a priest, and be disciplined like a monk. The screaming and torment from my father may have caused me to lose faith but my mother helped me regain this faith, to believe in oneself until the end. I was considered to be on the brink of obesity since the sixth grade until the end the Freshmen, that summer I began to change my diet and began doing cardio. This continued until I began weightlifting, becoming a weightlifter allowed me to understand the meaning of patience and of working. Every time I am at the Golds Gym, I consider it the most product time of my day because I believe the sensation of burning muscle is the act of working. Bodybuilding has given me the confidence that I had never possessed, it has allowed to convert from an introvert book worm to an intelligent extrovert. I began making a plethora of friends since my transition, Hudson Catholic became the excitement of my day. I looked forward to talking to my peers because I was no longer anxious about my body image, my image is what I strive to perfect. I plan to compete when I am twenty five, it will take eight years of dedication, but my new family at Penn state will help me along the
