Intro:
Life repeatedly forces us to make a choice at difficult moments
When at crossroads, it makes us take a leap of faith and choose a path to take
The point of this paper is to connect Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck, to the poem “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost.
The two pieces of literature are related to each other, for they both discuss the means of choosing the right path to take when at crossroads.
While the two pieces of literature differ greatly, they share the common thread of making the right choice when more than one door opens up.
1st Body Paragraph Discussing Of Mice and Men:
George and Lennie, the protagonist of the novel, share the dream of owning their own farm
Nevertheless, they choose to take the steady road and keep on dreaming unrealistically
They are at crossroads. They hope for things to get better, but their hope is impractical. It is unnecessary for their survival. It is a fork in the road for them: to keep on dreaming non-sensibly or to survive.

But, as it explains in the later phrase, the two paths turned out to be similar.
In the latter part of the poem, the narrator tries taking the other road, which also fails.
The main point conveyed through the narrator’s struggle to make a decision shows us the empowering nature of the choices people make and their corresponding effects.
The Optional Conclusion:
When making choices, stress and struggle are common things.
The traveler in the poem demonstrates that struggle and stress, for he/she is worried about the unfold of that
