Body language in the model of expressing emotions, immediacy behaviours and tie signs are a few examples that show us how body language and nonverbal communication has an influence on our relationships.
Since nonverbal communication is our dominant way for expressing and communicating our emotions and feelings, it reveals a lot about our feelings and relationship with someone. Facial expressions and the act of touch are the leading tools of expressing emotions. If we take love as an example, it's expressed through nonverbal things such as eye contact, a high quantity of touching and spending a lot of time together.
