As a young teen your body can affect how you act socially. If a young teen is comfortable in their own skin they are confident and won 't result to an eating disorder. But if a young teen is uncomfortable in their own skin they won 't be confident and will result to eating disorders, that will cause them to lose or gain an excessive amount of body weight.
During the development stage of a young teen , they will begin to answer the question" Who am I ?"Your identity is a key factor of how you are socially. How you are seen is also linked to your body image. The body is fundamental to the consistency and the continuity of identity construction.
