How Has Body Image Affect Our Society?
According to google body image mean; “Body image is the way you see yourself and imagine how you look” Having a positive body image means that most of the time you are happy with the way you see yourself, having a negative body image means you are never happy with your body image and you want it to change right away. Do you ever have those days where you just aren’t too happy with your body and you wish there was something you could do about it? Or do you ever have those days where you look at a magazine or on TV and see these really good looking people with skinny bodies and look amazing and wish you could be them? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to wake up with a flat stomach and have all your close fit and look amazing on you? Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be skinny? There is not one woman or man out there that would like to change their outside appearance to try ad fit the status quo, when in reality there is no status quo and we just think that in order to fit in and belong in this society we have to act and look a certain way. I truly hope as the years go on and our society changes I hope that body image and what we think of our bodies changes as our society changes.
