Aural means I learn best when hearing the information spoken and by asking questions about the concept I am learning. The other way I learn best is being kinesthetic which means I use my five senses and hands on experiences to help me learn. The Aural side of me likes to remember stories, examples, and jokes, to be to relate them to the concept I am learning. I have found that I when attended class and really focus on what the instructor or professor is teaching I am able to grasp the concept that is being taught.…

Therefore, my teacher explained to me I was a kinesthetic learning I have a sense of feeling of it and seeing it visually instead of it just being auditory. I can use my learning style in college because when I am unsure of what the professor may ask, I may ask her to draw a picture when explaining. Most professors, I know are visual learners, thus most of their lessons are all in PowerPoint or they use the Smart Board when teaching. Overall, the professors at Broward College are very understanding. They recognize that every student learns a different and I really appreciate the different learning styles…

When I took the learning styles assessment it concluded that I am a tactile learner, which indicates that I comprehend by doing or touching. It is difficult for me to process information just by listening or reading, I would have to physically write it down over and over for it be imprinted into my brain. I use a lot of hand gesture while speaking because it helps me remember what the situation was about, and if I need to spell out a word I have to fingerspell it out in the air. Or if I’m trying to solve a math problem in my head, I would sometimes use my finger as a pen on my desk and solve it with my imagination. The assessment states that tactile learners use flashcards and arrange them into groups by relationship in order to absorb the…

Kinesthetic learning style is a style that involves learning by touching or doing things. Kinesthetic learners may find it easier to make a model rather than just read or just look at the book. Kinesthetic learners prefer touching the information by being creative. Kinesthetic learners want concrete, multi-sensory personal experiences in their learning so presenting concepts during lectures using suitable clinical case scenarios, analogies, real life examples, and metaphors will benefit kinesthetic learners, as will incorporating videos and movies. Teaching with multisensory approaches will also satisfy the need of multi-modal learners, especially those who are not satisfied until they have had input from all their preferred…

The student with this learning style learns best by touching, feeling and smelling things; as a result, the more use of muscles during studying, the more the brain will retain. If Alan is a Instructor, he can help students with this learning style, by having them participate in activities that require them to be active, such as taking notes, group activities, stretching,…

Reflection Paper One of the most meaningful things about Motor Learning class is recording the videos with the group that the professor assigned the first day of class. Working as a group helps me to understand the material ten times better, and makes it easier to go through the whole process of the videos like knowing the right way of editing and recording. Being able to work with different people helps me to improve the way I take my notes in class and how to write down the most important things from the power points. Before every video, most of the time my team gets together to share our knowledge and create a better way of how to become creative with the videos, and make it easy for the audience to understand the material and skills.…
