Bobby Orr
An idol is a person who is greatly admired. One of my idols is Bobby Orr. Bobby Orr was born on March 20th, 1948 in Parry Sound Ontario. His is NHL career started in 1966 when the Boston Bruins drafted him. He played for the Boston Bruins for ten years than with the Chicago Blackhawks for two years. He retired after that in 1978. He is one of the people who got me into hockey. He also inspired me to be a defenseman.

He is my idol because he is a Canadian hockey player. Another reason is in 1969-1970 he was the first and only defenseman to win an NHL scoring title with 120 points. And finally he won a Stanley cup with Boston in 1969-1970 when he scored the overtime winner in game 4 of the Stanley cup finals against St. Louis
