Bob Miglani's Is The American Dream Still Alive

Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” The meaning of the American Dream is that every citizen has an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative. The Dream is something every human has a chance to pursue and become successful with it. Everyone's dreams are different and achieving them can be either easy or hard. No matter what every person has the ability to reach victory. In “Is the American Dream Still Alive,” Bob Miglani explains how working hard will push forward the accomplishment of the American Dream. Once Bob figured out that only himself can accomplish his Dream he now needs to put effort into it. Bob once was stuck because he had constant change of work and unpredictable life that he had worked so hard for. Working hard changed his perception on how to get closer to his Dream. His definition of working hard has changed because of how it left him. But once he knew that his American Dream may have moved further he still had a chance to grasp. Bob then stated that, “All we can do is see an opportunity to learn, contribute and serve and get busy doing” (Miglani 2). Now that Bob had a clear pathway on how to capture his Dream he now has to put forth effort into it. A lot of things are put into hard work, for example, Bob need commitment, determination, energy, and faith in order to make it anywhere. Being dedicated to the American Dream will focus on what the Dream really is and how it is achievable. In order to ever move farther towards the life accomplishment, staying on task and knowing what is needed will inch the Dream closer and closer to
